Vero Software to Exhibit Four Brands at SOUTH-TEC 2017, Oct. 24-26, Greenville, South Carolina

Vero Software will exhibit four of its efficiency-boosting CNC solutions, including EDGECAM, RADAN, SURFCAM and WORKNC, at SOUTH-TEC 2017, hosted Oct. 24-26 at the TD Convention Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

As an international resource for the manufacturing industry, SOUTH-TEC draws manufacturing suppliers, distributors and equipment builders from throughout North America and around the world. Featuring over 400 exhibiting companies, attendees can find the latest technologies, services, and industry experts demonstrating solutions that can help them grow their businesses.

See the latest that EDGECAM, RADAN, SURFCAM and WORKNC have to offer at booth No. 1121, where product experts will perform demonstrations of the latest time-saving technologies in each solution.

In addition to several new and improved features for milling, turning, simulation and wire EDM, EDGECAM 2017 R2 introduces a new turning cycle that includes B-axis movements for machining on a turning center.

This new feature allows greater accessibility for machining complex profiles because it dynamically positions the insert. As the toolholder is gouge-protected, programmers have additional control over the toolpath by deploying over-ride angles. This new cycle can be used with all types of turning tools, and for both roughing and finishing operations.

RADAN 2018 delivers new and enhanced functionality that focuses specifically on the “engineering of parts” and processes for sheet-metal fabrication, including a new nesting engine for greater material utilization, faster processing times, and greater connectivity with 2D and 3D design systems.

At SOUTH-TEC, RADAN will also demonstrate Radmanager and Radquote, two new products that aid fabricators with the costing of components, as well as the ability to exchange information with existing MRP systems and to manage multiple orders and multiple work centers.

SURFCAM includes Waveform Roughing, a high-speed machining technique that maintains a constant tool cutting load by ensuring that tool engagement into the material is consistent.

The toolpath moves in a smooth path to avoid sharp changes in direction, which maintains the machine tool’s velocity. Consistent tool loads generated from the waveform tool path offers the user the opportunity to rethink speeds, feeds and depths of cut. The Waveform tool path increases tool life and is also kinder to the machine tool.

WORKNC’s new Parallel Finishing toolpath makes use of innovative Advanced Toolform technology, which offers efficient high-feed cutter management. Toolpath calculations are based on the real shape of the cutter, which ensures optimal surface quality and machining times reduced by up to 80 percent.
