Produmax Aerospace Waveform Success

EDGECAM, by Vero Software, Featured at the DMG MORI, Elliott Matsuura, EMEC Machine Tools & Ferro Technique Joint Open House, April 25-26, Ont., Canada

Valued for its ability to program any machine tool, the innovative EDGECAM computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution will be exhibited April 25-26 at the Elliott Matsuura and Ferro Technique locations of the DMG MORI, Elliott Matsuura, EMEC Machine Tools and Ferro Technique Joint Open House in Ont., Canada.

EDGECAM reseller AMBO Technologies Canada will offer demonstrations of the software’s latest time-saving features and improvements at the Elliott Matsuura facility in Oakville, and at the Ferro Technique facility in Mississauga.

Among EDGECAM’s time-saving capabilities is the Waveform roughing strategy, a high-speed machining cycle that is available for milling and turning and delivers consistent tool-engagement with the material, thereby maintaining constant tool-cutting load. By generating smooth toolpath to avoid sharp changes in direction, EDGECAM Waveform maintains machine-tool velocity while decreasing cycle time and increasing tool life.

The open house will also showcase the newest technologies of 16 machine-tool builders, as well as the latest developments from participating suppliers of software, cutting-tools, probing technology, and more.

The joint open house event, which also features the Ontario locations for DMG MORI and EMEC Machine Tools, Inc., offers free limousine rides between locations, as well as prizes, and daily light meals and refreshments.

Attendees are encouraged to call or visit the websites of host companies to register, or for more information.

Host companies can also be contacted by e-mail at the following addresses: DMG MORI, info@dmgmori.com; Elliott Matsuura, info@elliottmachinery.com; EMEC Machine Tools, sales@emecmt.com; and Ferro Technique, sales@ferrotechnique.com.
