B-Axis Contour Turning cycle allows simultaneous B-axis movements while machining on a turning centre. This new feature allows greater accessibility when machining complex profiles, by dynamically positioning the insert. With automatic toolholder gouge protection the user can deploy the command for both roughing and finish operations.

The Inspection Module offers unparalleled ease of use for both in-process and end-item part inspection. With a growing need for ‘on-machine’ probing support, Edgecam empowers the users to create a set of inspection features which are then converted into a toolpath and simulated. This means the machine code macros are created via Edgecam’s postprocessor.

CadLink enhanced - ‘Limits and Fit’ Hole data is now passed to the Edgecam feature. Effects CREO, SolidWorks and Inventor files. The extra data provides greater in-sight to the Hole characteristic, plus passes more data to the strategy manager.
