EDGECAM Lunch & Learn Event Proves Educational for Attendees

The first in a series of EDGECAM Lunch and Learn events was held by EDGECAM Reseller, Silverhawk Solutions, on February 11th, 2014 at the Haas Factory Outlet in Tampa, FL.  The event provided attendees with the opportunity to experience the new functionality in Rapid Programming Technology for milling and turning, using the 2014 R1 release of EDGECAM Workflow.  Live test drives of EDGECAM’s Workflow allowed attendees to see firsthand how Workflow’s intuitive interface, model intelligence, and knowledge based machining enables users to rapidly complete the essential steps of CNC machine programming for prismatic parts. Workflow reduces costs, reduces training time, produces consistent reliable G code, improves quality and achieves shorter lead times.

In addition to EDGECAM, attendees of the event had the chance to see Haas Automation machine tools and Iscar tooling in action.  Attendees witnessed real life machining of customer production parts using EDGECAM high speed Waveform technology.  Visitors also had the opportunity to discuss specific manufacturing requirements with Application Engineers and network with their industry peers, which made for a truly productive day.
